Welcome in Assisi
The Hotel “Dei Priori” is situated in an historical building dating back to the 16th century (around 1570). Its original name being “Nepis Palace”, it was designed by the famous architect Galeazzo Alessi.The hotel is very close to the most important and famous monuments of the city, our guests can reach them very easily on foot: “S.Chiara” is only at 50 meters, the native house of St. Francis as well as the main square “Piazza del Comune”, with the“ Santa Maria sopra Minerva” (originally a roman temple and nowadays a beautiful church) are located just a few meters from the hotel.
The Basilica of San Francesco is about 350 meters while the Cathedral of San Rufino is just in the back of the hotel.
The hotel has been renovated in 1998 to keep up to date with modern times, safety and needs of its international clients.
All 34 rooms are equipped with private services, air conditioning, direct dial telephone and satellite TV (CNN and other international channels are available). The reception is located on the ground floor.
The fine restaurant (around 100 seats) is located on the underground level and offers both international and typical Umbrian cuisine. Continental grand buffet breakfast is also served in the restaurant and include:
Coffee, Chocolate, Milk, Tea, Orange Juice, Butter, Jam, Honey, Bread, Choice of Cereals, Fresh Fruit, a Choice of Home Made Cakes, Croissants, Cold Cuts, Yogurt, etc.
On their way down to the restaurant, our guests can admire a roman well dating back to the II century.
On the first floor a lovely reading room, with unique ceilings dating back to the 18th century, is available for meetings, or just for relax.
